This year for my big 33 we went to a pre season Dallas Cowboys game. Preston has been bugging us for a very long time to be able to go... We got tickets on stub hub (we paid more to park at the game then we did to actually attend the game.. I won't even mention the fortune paid on food :) It was a great experience we even got to see Tony Romo play... that was the highlight for Preston...
I guess I should mention that the Cowboys game wasn't the only thing I got for my birthday.. I went with Cobi August 2nd to the Brad Paisley Concert.. ( Might I mention.. It was my FIRST CONCERT EVER!! It was quite the experience. I think I learned that I am too old.. my neck hurt from looking up at the screens... my head hurt from the noise... my butt hurt from sitting.. and my feet hurt from standing sooo long. I think I now understand why concerts are for the young... haha)

How fun, all the time I've lived here I've never actually been to a game to see the Boys, but really I don't care about football so it's no big deal! I'm more of a Mavs girl myself! Glad you had fun at the concert - I've only ever been to one, back in middle school, to see NKOTB - good times! Fun memories!!!! Are you done with work? Call me, I'd love an update!!!
What cute pics. Sounds like you had a blast! It really is quite the experience to see football games in person. I actually like it better. I couldn't stop laughing when I read the part about the concert. I haven't been to one in a really long time. Preston is so cute in his football attire.

What a fun birthday for you! I went to a pre-season Cowboys game once when I was about 3 weeks from having Jill. It was still pretty fun. :) I love concerts but I'd probably be the same about feeling too old for one now. The last one we went to was when I was about 3 weeks away from having Natalie and we had to STAND the whole time at Billy Bob's (didn't understand that when I paid for tickets to STAND the whole time). :) Why do I only get out when I'm 8 months pregnant??? Hee hee.
What EVER@!! Mike and I went to a concert for his birthday last night! We went to "poison" and he laughed because I kept making the ILY "i love you" handshape instead of the "rock on" handshape! *rolling my eyes.. technicalities!* but it was dang fun! He begged me to flash the guitar guy to get a guitar pick. He would have probably thrown the whole guitar at me to just have me cover myself back up again! ha ha ha I'm so glad you had a fun birthday!
Hey sorry we never got together before you left. I wanted to try and do a girls night with you and some from our ward, but we were gone all this week, and all last week there was stuff going on. I heard you had one with your ward. I hope it was fun. We will miss you. How far is the drive for you to Salt lake from Idaho? We will be there sometime next year. I don't know when. but it you are close enough, maybe we could get together. Travel safe this week, and have a great Thanksgiving!!
Are you in Idaho now? I was going to email you but figured you'd see a post to your blog just the same! Hope your trip was ok, I have been thinking of calling but didn't want to bother you over the Holiday since I'm sure you were loving all the time with your families. We miss ya already!
